Why we built it, and who we are.
We spent years inside large, regulated data estates, the institutions everyone else builds on. And underneath the dashboards and the diagrams we kept finding the same pattern: logic nobody had read in years, still shaping numbers the business relied on.
The catalogues could list what existed, and the documentation said what was meant to happen. Neither could tell us what the code was doing. And the people who really knew were getting fewer.
So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: a way to read an estate, the code that actually runs, and follow every chain from column to control. Honest about how sure anyone should be. And deterministic, so a second run gives the same answer and anyone can check it.
The name
Cosmogenesis is the emergence of order from chaos. That’s the job: reading an estate that has grown unread for twenty years, and making it legible.
The team
We’re a small team in Sydney, with careers spent in data, risk and engineering inside regulated institutions. We’re early-stage and building deliberately, proving the platform ahead of expansion.
If some part of your estate is the part you’d rather not be asked about, we probably have something to talk about.
